Press release -

Biopac expand product range as they join forces with BioPak Pty

Biopac UK Ltd are joining forces with Australia’s leading providers of eco-friendly food packaging, BioPak Pty.

Both companies were acquired by Duni AB last year, with the vision to bring the best of all companies to the UK, allowing all companies to work towards their shared goal of preserving and protecting the environment for current and future generations.

In April 2019, Biopac marked the start of the union with the launch of the BioPak Art Series Biocups. These colourful cups feature unique artworks by UK artists, exploring themes that relate to the natural environment and sustainability.

Biopac have now launched Biopak’s innovative range of wooden cutlery and plant-based sugarcane takeaway containers, bowls, plates and produce trays. The coming months will bring new products to the existing eco-friendly range. This will help reach a wider variety of food and drink providers including retailers, restaurants, cafes, food trucks, breweries, festivals, stadiums and arenas.

Available online now is the Carnauba-wax wooden cutlery range that gives customers on the go a much better eating experience with its food safe, non-toxic compostable plant-based coating.

This Autumn will see Biopac UK Ltd become BioPak UK. This exciting change will come with a brand-new website to improve user experience, which is still at the forefront of Biopac’s commitment to its customers.

Biopac Co-Founder, Mark Brigden said, “this is an exciting time for Biopac UK as this transition into BioPak UK will open up new markets for us and give our current and prospective customers much more choice in the UK.”

BioPak eco-friendly food packaging is now available in the UK on Biopac’s current website at www.biopac.co.uk
