Founded in a common focus on sustainability and innovation, Duni Group and the British company Notpla enter into a new collaboration. As a first step of the collaboration, Duni Group is launching a new plastic-free food packaging with a unique algae coating, developed by Notpla, which offers both functionality and improved environmental performance.

Setting science-based targets ensures the work towards further reductions of greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Paris Agreement. This is an important step towards the goal of reaching net-zero across the value chain by 2050.

Phasing out of plastic continues

EU legislation sets out requirements for phasing out plastic within certain groups of single-use products. The BioPak business area is well advanced with sustainable alternatives. During the year, for example, the Duniform® concept has become increasingly based on renewable raw materials.
